There are 2 locations that are nestled in the beautiful
and unique nature of the East Bay.


Castle Rock - East Bay Regional Park District

The foothills of Mt. Diablo are a retreat from the busyness of daily life. The landscape at Castle Rock provides opportunities for children to observe a variety of seasonal changes as they explore throughout the year. Your child will get to connect and create their own experiences in this cherished east bay gem.

Diablo Foothills Regional Park Trailhead 
1700 Castle Rock Road
Walnut Creek, CA 94598


Drop-off will be at the Diablo Foothills Regional Park Trailhead Parking lot located at the end of Castle Rock Road. We will meet at the large Oak tree near the bulletin board at the far end of the parking lot.

Once the group has arrived, we will start with a short hike  to the Castle Rock picnic area. This is where we will settle in for our morning circle before the day's activities begin.

 Redwood Bowl - Redwood Regional Park 

Located right off Skyline Boulevard, you'll find yourself in a verdant forest. This is where your child will get the opportunity to be immersed in nature. This retreat to the wilderness will allow your child to recharge on the West Ridge Trail which is lined with beautiful Coastal Redwoods and ferns. The forest provides space to explore, opportunities for empowerment, and time to exercise the imagination and body in a truly genuine way. 

* Drop-off will be at the Robert's Regional Park Redwood Bowl Staging Area.

Drop off will be in the Robert's Regional Park - Redwood Bowl Staging Area parking lot. The Redwood Bowl trailhead is located at the far end of the parking lot near the yellow gate. 

Once the group has arrived, we will start with a short hike  to the Redwood Bowl area. This is where we will settle in for our morning circle before the day's activities begin.
