This class will begin with music making, song-singing and creative movement. Following these opening activities, we will have snack and begin our nature walk. Children will practice identifying plants and wildlife we see along the way. Upon reaching our "home base" in the Redwood Bowl area, we will play collaboratively and engage with the natural surroundings. After hiking back to the pick-up spot, we will finish our day with a nature-themed story.
* Drop-off and pick-up will be held at the Redwood Bowl Staging Area parking lot.
* Pack water, a snack, and a pair of extra clothes. Children carry their own packs, so check the weight to see that it is appropriate.
